Upon returning home from a business trip, Mia, her patience exhausted, confronts her partner, Daniel, about his device dependency from routine digital engagement. How it has affected their time together, stealing him away to a mediated electronic ‘other’ world, oblivious to its consequences. Daniel defensively argues that the new technology is a window to greater knowledge and understanding, it enables “us to see further and more deeply”. Mia is unconvinced and in a heartfelt encounter she struggles with the weight of her own honesty as she fights the bitter realization about their relationship.  Are they really seeing each other clearly, or are they both trapped behind a screen, living in a distorted version of reality?
